• Account Information: We collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through Google Firebase to sync your data across devices.
• Financial Data: We store the transactions, budgets, and loans you enter to provide tracking and insights.
• SMS Permissions (Optional): This feature is off by default and only enabled if you manually opt in from settings. When enabled, SpendPeel parses incoming SMS messages from financial institutions locally on your device to automate expense tracking. No SMS data or content is uploaded to our servers, stored remotely, or shared with third parties.
• Voice & Audio (Optional): Our speech-to-text feature requires microphone access so you can add expenses using voice commands. Audio data is processed locally or through secure platform services and is not stored permanently on our servers.
• Contacts (Optional): We access your contacts to help you identify individuals for loan and debt tracking. This information is used only within the app to link transactions to specific people.
• Exact Alarms & Notifications: We use precise alarms to ensure you receive timely reminders for budget limits, goal deadlines, and loan due dates, even when the app is running in the background.
• Biometrics: We use device biometric authentication to secure your financial data and prevent unauthorized access to the app.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
